FAQ

The AEC Hackathon is an event focused on fostering innovation and collaboration within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. Participants come together to solve industry challenges, share ideas, and bridge perspectives for the future of AEC.

The AEC Hackathon is an outstanding opportunity to connect with experts from IT and AEC sectors. It’s a hands-on experience where you can tackle real-world problems, enhancing your portfolio and professional skills. It’s also an ideal venue for showcasing your talents to potential employers. Besides working hard, the hackathon is fun-filled, energetic, and memorable—an event that offers both professional growth and enjoyable experiences.

Register and buy a ticket – our system will be available on the website soon. To keep up to date on event, challenges and news, don’t forget to subscribe to our newsletter!

The event is open to professionals and enthusiasts from the architecture, engineering, construction, BIM and related sectors. Whether you’re a developer, designer, engineer or visionary thinker, you’re welcome to join and contribute your unique insights and skills.

Participants should bring their own laptop, any necessary software they anticipate needing, good sens of humor and lots of creative ideas. Hardware or other specific tools related to your project can also be brought if needed. The hosts provide access to high-speed Internet.

You can attend alone or with your teammates. Teams can be formed prior to the event or during the initial networking session of the hackathon. We encourage forming teams that have a diverse range of skills and perspectives to fully tackle the complex challenges of the AEC industry.

Mentors from various disciplines within the AEC industry will be available to provide guidance, insights, and support to teams. Additionally, technical experts will offer help with software, coding, and design challenges.

The hosts provide catering throughout the event. Participants only need to arrange accommodation on their own. The location in the center of the City of Dwarfs gives many possibilities for accommodation, although we do not recommend waiting for the last minute.

Certainly, while the primary language of the event is English, organizers will also communicate in Polish. Please note that the event is international and conducted primarily in English.
