Privacy Policy
- Introduction
Your privacy is very important to us because you give us your data in confidence and the services we offer are based on it. This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the processing of personal data of participants of the AEC Hackathon Poland Edition (hereinafter: Event). The event host and data administrator is Creoox R&D Sp. z o.o. (hereinafter: Administrator), registered at Al. Armii Krajowej 8C/6, 50-541 Wrocław, Poland
- Purpose for data processing.
The Administrator shall process the following categories of personal data concerning you:
- Registration of participants and management of their participation in the Event.
- Communication with participants on Event-related matters.
- Providing customized facilities for participants during the Event (e.g., diet)..
- Promotion of the Event, including publication of photos and videos of the Event in social media and other promotional materials.
- Execution of other activities related to the effective organization of the Event.
- Legal basis
The basis for processing your personal data is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (consent to the processing of personal data) and the execution of the Event participation agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Scope of the data collected and processed
The Administrator shall process the following categories of personal data concerning you: name, surname, address, e-mail address, company name and TAX number (if applicable), information on dietary preferences, information on special needs of participants (if applicable), information on sources of information about the event.
- To whom we disclose your personal data
Your personal data may be shared with entities supporting the event, including IT service providers, catering companies and executive, media partners and sponsors.
- Data retention period
Your personal data shall be kept for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes listed in point. 2, but no longer than up to 1 year after the end of the Event.
- Rights of participants
We guarantee you the fulfillment of all your rights under the terms of the GDPR, i.e. the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy of it;
- rectify (amend) your personal data;
- restrict the processing of your personal data;
- erase your personal data (subject to Article 17(3) of the RODO);
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Data Protection Authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the law on personal data protection;
- withdraw your consent.
You may withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time e.g. by sending an email to: privacy@creoox.com. Withdrawal of consent before the conference and/or workshop will result in inability to participate in them. We would also like to remind you that your withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent prior to its withdrawal. Access to your personal data will be provided to authorised employees, associates and members of the Administrator’s authorities who need to process your data in connection with the organisation of the conference and workshop. Recipients to whom your personal data may be transferred are entities related to the execution of the contract and entities supporting the Administrator in the execution of activities related to the organisation of the conference and the workshop.
- Complaint to the supervisory authority.
In accordance with art 77 of the GDPR, you have right to lodge a complaint to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of alleged infringement, if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates the provisions of the GDPR
